This session will help workers understand their responsibilities to protect public health and the environment while minimizing regulatory risks. Learn practical procedures and safety practices to manage hazardous materials safely and effectively.

Topics include:  
• Definitions and classifications of hazardous, universal waste, and used oil
• Proper storage, labeling, and containment requirements
• Employee training and safety protocols
• Waste disposal and recycling options for municipalities
• Recordkeeping and reporting obligations
• Spill prevention and emergency response procedures
