FMIT Claims Service
The Florida Municipal Insurance Trust provides full-service claims service for its coverage programs, including:
- Claims evaluation
- Investigation Litigation management
- Administrative responses to claims (e.g., rejection)
- Subrogation recovery
- Providing claim detail reports
- Defense counsel where litigation arises
Under all of the coverages we offer, members benefit from in-house claims administration. Within the Property & Liability program and the Workers’ Compensation program, members may choose to self-administer or use a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) for claims administration within their selected self-insured retention.
